Het commentaar van Chambers Europe 2008 in Transportation: Litigation & Regulatory:

The Firm: One of the most substantial practices in the country in terms of numbers, this group is equally active in the shipping and transport sectors. Applying a traditional approach, the team has chosen not to move in the direction of logistics and port-related work, but rather to continue gathering what peers have described as "enviable expertise in blue-water and inland waterways matters." The group carries out vast amounts of work related to road and rail transport and has an important cargo department. Additionally, the firm has developed unique competence in the yacht-building business.
The Lawyers: Vincent de Brauw has stepped down as partner but continues to act as adviser to the team. An expert civil law litigator, he specialises in dry shipping matters, co-operation agreements and shipbuilding. On the wet side of shipping, Frans de Vries Lentsch receives accolades from peers, who hold him in high esteem for his "quick and practical approach." Regarded as the leader in the yacht-building market, he advises some of the major shipyards, as well as a number of smaller players. Rail and road transport specialist Jos van der Meche was described by one prominent competitor as "a trusted lawyer to whom I can refer clients without any concern." He often engages on collision and derailment work, damage claims and carriers' liability issues. Head of department Haco van der Houven van Oordt enjoys an excellent reputation among peers for his expertise in wet shipping. He is active in collision salvage matters, leading a practice that is increasingly influenced by international claims.
