Diane de Vries is a partner engaged in the Corporate Law practice group, where she focuses on financing. She applies her expertise to advise clients on domestic and international (syndicated) credit facilities, guarantees and legal opinions.
Another part of her practice consists of counselling and guidance of Dutch and foreign clients on general business law (such as dissolutions, shareholder agreements and the establishment of decision-making procedures) and personal corporate law.
Diane is also involved in mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs, (tax-motivated) restructuring programmes and joint-ventures for both national and international clients.
Diane speaks fluent (legal) German and is frequently involved in advising German speaking clients. Within the context of a secondment Diane worked for several months at the German office Raupach & Wollert-Elmendorff in Düsseldorf in 2006.
In 2007 Diane graduated cum laude with a postgraduate degree in 'Financing & Securities’ at the Grotius Academy.
Diane is one of the authors of the ‘Handbuch des internationalen GmbH-Rechts’ and separate comments Widmann/Mayer, ‘Länderbericht Niederlande’, Umwandlungsrecht.
