René Nieuwmans (1966) is a member of the Employment law practice group. His specialist area includes handling individual and collective dismissals and advising on terms and conditions of employment, and their amendment. He also assist clients during reorganisation and restructuring of limited companies and foundations, in employee participation arrangements as well as dealing with employment law-related aspects of compliance with the Financial Supervision Act (Wft) and associated regulatory issues in general.
René acts on behalf of employers in a variety of sectors and has an established a name for himself among managers and directors.
He is a member of the Dutch employment law association (VVA) and the Amsterdam branch of the employment lawyers association (VAAN).
René is also a member of AKD’s Employee Participation Working Group and AKD's Collective labour agreement law Working Group.
