Meijer, Rob

Rob Meijer has been a lawyer with AKD since 1973. He works in the field of Commercial Property law where he is mainly engaged in advising on construction contracts in areas including purchase agreements and agreements with contractors, construction claims and contract law. Rob heads the Construction and Real Estate practice group in Rotterdam within AKD.

As a lawyer specialised in arbitration, Rob is also an arbitrator with the Netherlands Arbitration Institute (NMI) in Rotterdam, and also a mediator. He is frequently called upon as a seminar presenter.

Rob is a member of the Dutch construction law association (VBR), the association of construction law lawyers (VBR A), the Netherlands Mediation Institute (NMI) and the Netherlands Mediation Association (NMv) and Bouwmediators.nl. He also has a seat on the Advisory Council of the NMv.
