About Julian Versmissen

Julian Versmissen is a lawyer and partner at AKD who specialises in (international) real estate transactions and various civil law matters related to commercial and residential real estate.

He has ample experience in supervising a variety of investment transactions, offices, retail premises and distribution centres. Turnkey development projects, property transformation projects, sale & leaseback arrangements, asset management as well as sales and building contracts are his particular expertise. Julian also focuses on legal proceedings concerning lease and construction, and his clients include developers, (international) investors, construction companies and government bodies.

Julian has written a variety of publications. He was, for instance, co-author of the chapter 'Real estate investments in the Netherlands' in the German legal handbook titled ‘Rechtshandbuch Immobilien-Investitionen’, published by Verlag C.H. Beck.

Furthermore, Julian is ranked in the Chambers and Partners 2022 and in The Legal 500 2022 as 'Recommended lawyer'.
