Alexandra Danopoulos (1979) is part of the Regulatory & Government Affairs practice group. She studied Dutch Law at Erasmus University Rotterdam, specialising in Constitutional and Administrative Law. After she graduated, she spent six years working as a researcher and lecturer on administrative law at Erasmus University.

Alexandra obtained her PhD in 2009, for research in the field of market surveillance. Her doctoral thesis was entitled Geschilbeslechting door de OPTA. Een voorbeeld voor geschilbeslechting in het bestuursrecht? (‘Dispute resolution by OPTA. An example for dispute resolution in administrative law?’) Alexandra works in the general administrative law practice, assisting government authorities, businesses and institutions in the non-profit sector. Her practice focuses on economic administrative law, regulated markets and surveillance and enforcement: issues such as disputes regarding telecommunication. In addition to economic administrative law, Alexandra also specialises on environmental and spatial planning law.
