Brussel, Judith van

Judith van Brussel has been working in the notarial practice of AKD since 1999, where she has specialised in Corporate Law. Judith is involved, among other things, in (international) reorganisations and restructurings, mergers, divisions, drawing up shareholder agreements and related activities, as well as all other activities associated with general notarial corporate law practice.

It gives her a lot of energy to closely cooperate with her clients and make complex things manageable and create direct and sustainable results. Judith has carried out various activities for healthcare institutions and housing associations, and consequently has acquired a great deal of knowledge of the relevant statutory regulations.

With regard to healthcare, she is involved amongst other things with providing advice concerning and in the setting up of joint ventures, private initiatives (such as independent treatment centres), restructuring, incorporation of legal persons and partnerships, and advice and practical assistance with the implementation of healthcare governance.

In relation to housing associations, she has been involved amongst other things in the restructuring, start-up, and modification of legal persons, and given advice and practical assistance in relation to the housing association governance code. Furthermore, she has provided advice and support in relation to issues involving tenants' organisations in combination with the (internal) legal structure of housing associations.

She is a member of the Commercial Law Association and the Royal Notarial Association. And she gives frequently lectures about foundation law. Besides that Judith successfully concluded the Grotius Specialist study programme Corporate Structures in 2005.
