Babette Broekman (born in 1978) is a lawyer specialising in Private Construction law and Private Property law. She provides advice to and litigates on behalf of a variety of clients, including contractors, property developers, municipal authorities, housing associations and investors.
More specifically, Babette focuses on property development, purchase contracts, construction contracts and development contracts, and is currently pursuing a specialised course in Property Development. In addition, Babette advises clients regarding the purchase and sale of immovable property, the legal aspects of property transactions and building disputes,
as well as on general aspects of property in relation to the law of obligations, such as terminated negotiations and the formation of, compliance with, and dissolution or termination of agreements. Babette has extensive litigation experience, having tried cases before the Arbitration Board, the Netherlands Arbitration Institute (NAI) and a number of district courts and courts of appeal, among other institutions.
Babette is a member of several internal and external trade associations and property organisations, including AKD Real Estate and the Construction Law Association.
