Vincent Bettonville is a partner at AKD in Amsterdam, and a member of the Banking & Finance section. He has a broad financial practice but focuses on assisting clients in structured finance, asset finance and project finance transactions, and advising on (syndicated) loans and security arrangements and on restructurings. In addition to Dutch financial and corporate law, Vincent also advises in relation to financial and corporate law in Curacao.

Vincent has over seventeen years of experience (most of which were spent practising law in New York) in advising international clients, in particular U.S. and South American clients, as well as large domestic clients.

Vincent is a member of AKD’s legal opinion committee, and a member of the International Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

His most recent transactions include:

• supporting the international restructuring of an American company active in the field of data filing and data management;
• coordinating the international restructuring of an American group active in the automotive industry;
• coordinating the international restructuring of a Dutch touring and travel company;
• coordinating the international restructuring of a Mexican chain of hotels;
• assisting an American company active in the packaging industry in obtaining an operational facility from a Dutch-lead syndicate of banks.
