CIMC and CIMC BURG
10-09-2009 | AKD advised CIMC (China) and CIMC BURG (Netherlands) as Dutch counsel on the sale of its European tank related business to Enric (Hong Kong).
This transaction was part of a series of connected transactions
in Europe and China with a total value of EUR 380 million, whereby
Enric expanded its transportation, storage and equipment business
with the acquisition of manufacturing plants in Denmark, Belgium,
the Netherlands, Nantong (China) and Zhangjiagang (China).
The transactions were completed on 14 August 2009. As a result of
these transactions, Enric has become one of the largest
manufacturers and service providers for transportation, storage and
processing equipment widely used in the energy, chemical and liquid
food industries.
