AKD is advising on the construction of a new housing estate comprising 3,000 homes.
AKD played a major role in the PPP cooperation agreement between the Municipality of Helmond and various private parties for the construction of the new 'Brandevoort II' housing estate comprising 3,000 homes.
The Municipality of Helmond, the Hurks/Adriaans development combination, and house construction developers Kalliste/woCom have signed the cooperation agreement for the development and completion of the Brandevoort II housing estate in Helmond. This involves developments on the last part of the Brandevoort project, and 3,000 homes will be constructed during this final phase. Work on the project commenced at the end of 2007/beginning of 2008, and completion of the entire estate is scheduled for 2018.
The parties have laid down the following: the exact area covered by the plan, the preconditions relating to urban planning, the development and completion of 3,000 homes, the social housing programme, the completion of the business park, and the development of the scenic elements and public space.
