Law firm and notarial services provider AKD has appointed Remco Bosveld as a partner effective 1 July 2010. Remco, who joins AKD from De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek N.V., will be part of the firm’s notarial section for corporate law in Amsterdam.
As a corporate law specialist, Remco has been involved in a wide
range of activities related to corporate governance, corporate
reorganisations, mergers, demergers, acquisitions and securities
law. From late 2006 to early 2007, he was seconded to the New
York-based law firm Shearman & Sterling. His practice group
includes a mix of large companies (including family businesses) and
listed companies among its clients.
