AKD Prinsen Van Wijmen has appointed five new partners. As of 1
June 2007, Bart Roozendaal (Administrative Law, Breda and also
Rotterdam) and Gerrit van der Veen (Administrative Law, Rotterdam)
will act as full partners in the limited company with Esther
Broeren (Administrative Law, Breda), Judith van Brussel (Corporate
Law, Eindhoven) and Janine Mazel (Commercial Property, Amsterdam)
being appointed as salary-partners.
Bart Roozendaal is an expert in the entire field of Dutch
administrative law and the relationship between administrative law
and private law. His focus is on legal provisions governing the
liability of public authorities and includes issues such as the
misuse of governmental authority, detrimental impacts arising from
changes to development plans and related compensation claims.
Gerrit van der Veen specialises in administrative and environmental
law. His field of work includes general administrative law,
liabilities arising under public and private law in cases
concerning ground contamination and the Directive on environmental
liability, public administration and private law, including the
Land Development Act, subsidy law and administrative damages.
Esther Broeren is a lawyer specialising in administrative and
environmental law in the widest sense. Her field of work includes
the Environmental Protection Act, and the granting and enforcement
of permits, and the general administrative provisions that it sets
out. Esther provides legal advice to public authorities, domestic
companies and multinationals.
Judith van Brussel has worked in the notary's office since
1999, specialising in corporate law. Judith is engaged with
reorganisations and restructurings of national and international
companies, mergers, demergers, drawing up shareholder agreements
and handling related issues, as well as providing legal advice on
these matters.
Janine Mazelhas been a lawyer since 1991 and focuses on
construction and property law. Janine is primarily active in the
fields of contract law, with projects involving public-private
partnerships, project development, the redevelopment of inner
cities, international contracts and handling due diligence for
construction and property concerns.
