The International Law Office has chosen AKD Prinsen Van Wijmen as
the winner of the Client Choice Award of The Netherlands. These
international awards are the first and only to focus on the full
spectrum of client service and customer care.
This year's winners were chosen from more than 1,300 individual
assessments received from corporate counsel worldwide. The criteria
for the awards centred on law firms' ability to add real value to
their clients' business above and beyond the other players in the
market.
Firms were assessed on the following criteria:
• Quality of legal advice
• Value for money
• Commercial awareness
• Effective communication
• Billing transparency
• Tailored fee structures
• Depth of team
• Response time
• Sharing of expertise
• Use of technology
The awards research team also conducted interviews and additional
research to establish the shortlist. Winners were chosen across 46
jurisdictions worldwide, and only where sufficient data was
available.
