AKD Prinsen Van Wijmen appoints Advisory Board

The management of AKD Prinsen Van Wijmen has, in consultation with the firm’s Supervisory Board, established an Advisory Board.

The management of AKD Prinsen Van Wijmen has, in consultation with the firm's Supervisory Board, established an Advisory Board. The Board is chaired by Wim van Vonno and has Elco Brinkman and Roelof Prins as its members.

The task of the Advisory Board will be to provide the directors, the Supervisory Board and the heads of the company's various practice groups with advice concerning the further expansion of and strengthening of AKD. The Board will also lend guidance and support on decisions affecting AKD's strategic direction. The management sees the setting up of the Board as an important step in the continuing process of bringing a professional design to the future of AKD.

Advisory Board members

  • Dr. Ir. Wim van Vonno was the chairman of the Executive Board of the Koninklijke BAM Groep N.V. from 1982 until 1 October 2005
  • Mr. drs. Leendert Cornelis (Elco) Brinkman has been chairman of Bouwend Nederland since 1995
  • Roelof Prins is a director of NPM Capital N.V., in Amsterdam

Each of the Board members brings their own specialised knowledge and experience of different aspects of business. AKD anticipates adding two further members to its Advisory Board at a later date.
